Did someone mention going out? Hell yeah!
(the outstanding record is exactly three months of summer vacation spent at home without actually staying at home on any single night... needles to say, my mom was not pleased)

Coffee places - Something small and artsy would usually makes me very happy. I used to claim that pretty much any place with a sofa in it would do, but then Starbucks started doing that... needless to say I revised my criteria.

Movies -  Think independent... or just think not-mainstream-Hollywood, and chances are I'd like it... or think Lynch, Wenders, Waters, Weir, Altman, Tarkovski, Greenaway,  Jeunet/Caro, Kusturica, Cronenberg, Liman, Araki...

Bars - Small, neighborhood places with interesting patrons and friendly bartenders who know you after you came there twice. Old Town Pub in Pasadena is one of my favorite local ones.... an incognito, illegal place without a name, but with cool decorations, good cheep beer, great music coming from the boom-box, and a friendly cat, located in Trnska Street in Beograd would be my all time favorite.

Restaurants - Italian is always a safe choice. These days I'm quite willing to experiment, but I do have few places I frequent. The first place I'd take a date these days would be Mi Piace, or La Luna Negra.

Clubs - I'm not really into the club scene, but I like dancing, listening to music, and people watching.  I've been to quite a few gay places in the area, and I don't really have a favorite one. In general I prefer something less main stream then what you'd usually find in WeHo...Don't get me wrong, I don't mind going to WeHo. Let's face it, we can spit on it as much as we like, but in the end, it comes down to is that it's still one of the few places in this town that you can go out to and behave any way you would like to. So we are all going to come back there... again... and again...

Recently, I've been going to different goth and industrial clubs pretty regularly. So now you can often find me at Perversion, Nocturne, Coven, Das Bunker... While it's far from fairly representing my musical taste, I like the crowd (if some might find it too freaky at times, it's definitely different, new, and refreshing), and I've always had great time there.
